Storage and transport

Our overseas goods are received in the harbour port of Rotterdam. After arrival in the warehouse the goods are promptly quality controlled by the independent quality surveyors "Survey office E. de Beun" and "Fruit Surveyors Verzijden B.V.". Kölla Hamburg receives these quality reports immediately.

Projects and Journeys

Brazil
Kölla exclusively works together with 200 producers in the north east of Brazil, who cultivate table grapes on an area of round about 2.000 ha in total. Goods from unknown third parties are not purchased. Kölla works hand in hand with the "Brazilian Grapes Marketing Association (BGMA)" in Petrolina. Together we assist the producers in answering any questions that arise. Yaiza Gonzalez and Herbert Scholdei, executive director in Hamburg, regularly visit the producers and hold training courses for agricultural technicians and producers. The matter of pesticide residue levels is of high significance. Additionally, the food-chain-partnership programme with Bayer Crop further supports our producers.
