The continual growth of spanish imports during the last years was the reason for calling Kölla Valencia into life in 1998. Doing this made it easier for us to meet our customers' wishes for a reliable quality control and having an eye on the methods of cultivation as well as a direct contact with our packers on site.

Although Kölla Valencia was originally intended to be a support to Kölla Düsseldorf, we soon became aware of a further advantage of the location. Special is its geographical location - the most important production areas are to be reached in less than 3 hours - which opened up new markets to us.

This expansion has been advantageous to the whole Kölla - Group and has helped the company to operate successfully as an internationally acknowledged enterprise.

Latest developments

Taking Valencia as our starting point we act in two ways ; as exporters we organise and coordinate deliveries to the German market as well as to several other European countries and as importers we import merchandise from Europe and overseas to  Spain.
