About us...

KÖLLA Natura has specialised in the area of overseas import and distribution of organic products since its beginnings in late 2002. The increasing importance of environmental protection and the all-round benefits of organic production - as well as rising health-awareness among consumers - have convinced us of the necessity of trading in organic fruit and vegetables.


Partner Countries and Products

KÖLLA has been the leading direct-importer of certified New Zealand organic apples for the past few years. Since the deregulation of the Apple & Pear Board in October 2001, we have been closely involved with local organic production and continue to support its expansion. Varieties such as Braeburn, Royal Gala, Fuji, Granny Smith and others belong to our standard range during the season.  KÖLLA Natura is also the exclusive European importer of New Zealand Demeter Apples under the brand name Te Koha.

We also import organic apples, mangos, pears and seedless grapes from Brazil, Argentina and the USA. Our product range and availability are constantly being expanded and adjusted to meet market needs.

Quality Control

All our products comply with and are certified with the European EG standard 2092/91.

Our Import & Sales staff as well as our Quality-Manager stay in constant contact with all of our suppliers and regularly visit their organic production sites. Claudia Eggers in Import & Sales checks the organic quality of our suppliers annually, for example in New Zealand and Brazil. Yaiza Gonzalez - the quality manger of  KÖLLA Hamburg- also visits local suppliers to gain an overview of the growing methods for our products and to meet and experience the local Quality-Management at work.

Furthermore, KÖLLA Natura receives regular visits from our suppliers and their quality managers. During these visits they can meet our customers and gain a better understanding of - and an orientation toward - the European Market.
